In our last episode, Brian Bouffard gave us a lot of great information about what is happening with the detainees in our facilities at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. As a military law expert and criminal defense attorney, he's come a long way from his upbringing as a child of hoarders.
In this episode, Brian talks about his childhood - and the trauma he endured growing up in a hoarder house. While he says he hasn't 'overcome' it, he's in a state of 'overcoming' it. It's something that requires some professional help and introspection. He began journaling - and later turned to writing poetry to help him though his lifelong journey of overcoming this.
On Saturday, Dec 11, I'll release the episode which includes a reading of his epic poem "Escape Velocity". You won't want to miss this.
